Well if you look at the date.....got my wife some flowers, roses, and a card, she was not expecting it so I think I have a few smarts in the bank.....see how long that lasts.


Tomorrow going to a "Mastering Portable Flash with John Clements" course at Calumet in Manchester...really looking forward to it, see what / if I learn anything..hope so.

Well sitting here wondering whether to use this for posting my photos for comment and criticism or whether to pay for web space against one of the URL's that I own...mmmm. I think the paid option 'may' be best due to the enhanced control over the site design.....

I'll muse it over for another day or so, then get on with uploading my photo's.

Quick note..

Presently its 22:07......well over a year since my last blog. In a new job, been in it for just about 2 1/2 years, and presently I believe it to be the best job I've had, great job with great people, well true for the two offices that I have worked in.

Back living with my wife, which is where I should be of course. For many years I have been working away..not good, but that's all behind us.

As for diving, did not dive last weekend, but do dive most weekend, which I enjoy and enjoy the guys I dive with.

Presently thing are going well, lets hope it stays this way....time will tell.

Well, here we are, many months after the initial set up of my first blog.....hey presto, nearly one year hence and changed job to one that I love, best in my chosen industry, I would say the best kept secret, pleased I did it. Well the diving, thats going great, doing the ocassional great wreck, with great mates, although the deco is long and laborius. Last wreck dive was the Pathfinder off Eyemouth, boat full of us, 25 mins bottom time and 94 mins to get out...7oC....brrrrr.

Right now...

Well its 22:55 and it's Thursday so only tomorrow to do and then its the drive back to Manchester....home and hopefully the usual weekend diving. It seems that getting back to the wife and diving are what I look forward to.

As for work, to tell the truth, and in local vernacular, its p!$$ing me off due to whats going, on or not going on, it really is going down hill fast. Hey....but the world will keep on going no matter what impact we think we have.

I wonder what I will be doing in 1 years time....lets see.

Short but sweet, hope I can pop in now and again and top this up..

Went to diving at Capenwray this morning, diving with Andy Boyle and Carl Carl was doing his PADI advanced and i was divemaster'ing (well trainee anyhows), kind of enjoyed myself.

After the first dive Andy did not want to do a second so we had a break and Carl and I went back in. I was leading and took Carl around a few of the tourist sights....well what else is in there to do.!!

Anyway when we got to Podsnap I went inside, came out and offered for Carl to go in if he wanted, he went in and tried to get out through the two doors, he got through the first and could not get through the second.....I saw his movements get quick, I was thinking he was getting a little tense, he went back and came back out of the hatch.

After that we went past a couple more of the boats and Cessna, he indicated that he had 100bar left, so I thought we had better head back. Within the next few minutes he then indicated that he had 50bar left, then within about a minute he indicated 30bar...!!! So he let his blob off and so did I, and he slowly headed straight to the surface.

When on the surface he said that his mask was flooding and he was constantly tryign to clear it. With hind sight I think I certinly should not have offered him into Podsnap. When heading back to the car I asked him how many dives he had, he said about 30......I should have know that before diving with him. Going into Podsnap 'may' have un-nerved him....dont know but may have.

I learnt a lesson there, always check the experience of people you are diving with, as it may put too much peer pressure on someone. My mistake not his.

Well, its Friday 25th April 14:30 and I have just decided to start out this blog....well lets see how long and how often I update it...?

My wife Sue, whom I love dearly, well at the moment she is at work, training, she has just started a new job and is in her first week. I am off work, I have today and Mon / Tues off. with everything that is going on at work I need the break.....work is cr@p at the moment, used to look forward to going in, but in the last few months all that has turned around...sad really as there are a couple of good people there. The down side is there are a few NOT so good people that are solely out for their own means....cr@p...

Hey maybe I'm just feeling a little peeved and will fell a bit better about things later and will edit this out.
